This idea is to join the skills and passion of the young poets of the Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest, with elders at senior, assisted living and adult day care centers. last year , students participated in the Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest. Our goal is to being 10% or ab students to create and perform poems. As importantly, we want our young students to delight in the pleasures of this stage of life — to capitalize on the curiosity and enthusiasm of their youth and to enjoy the songs, stories, games, rhymes, and prayers enjoyed by pre-school aged children for generations.
